Here is the 2012 WWE Night of Champions Poster, and guess who is on the cover...

On your left, 13-time (or something like that) World Champion John Cena.

On your right, the current WWE Champion, since November 2011, CM Punk.

Either Punk's 10 month reign as champ will continue or Cena will become champion for first time since this event last year.

DREDD 3D presents Night of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 8:00 ET on PPV
From Cena's home arena, the TD Garden from Boston, MA.

Here is your official theme for Night of Champions 2012, "Champions" by Kevin Rudolf feat. Limp Bizkit, Birdman and Lil Wayne

Several Projects On Deck for MOSM blog...

Many of you may have been wondering why we have been off the blog the last couple of weeks. Here's a couple reasons:

  • Both Matt and Jack have been battling illness (we're ok :) )
  • Matt dealing with Midterms
And the most important reason we've been off is to focus on bringing you the best content and opinion on the blogosphere. With that being said, here's some of the things we are working on over the next 6 months...

  • Complete WrestleMania 28, Extreme Rules, Over The Limit, Money In The Bank, No Way Out and SummerSlam coverage
  • Coverage of Opening Day for the Atlanta Braves (and the other 161 games too)
  • Capability to Live Blog
  • Several YouTube Original Series
  • Interviews with on the rise athletes in Georgia
  • Hawks coverage including the playoffs
  • and Much More!
So stay tuned here for more details, including what our YouTube address will be. But until then,

"Like" us on Facebook...

"Follow" us on Twitter...

And always remember to...

Oh, that reminds me, one of those things we might be working on (if things fall into place), will be M! True Piedmont Story (and yes, it's a Z! True Long Island Story parody)!

Now...

(always wanted to do that!)

The Latest Twitter War: "Chris Breezy" vs. "The Voice of the Voiceless"

If you haven't heard by now, multi-time award winning artist Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) and current WWE champion CM Punk (@cmpunk) have engaged in a Twitter War.

Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, started the war Monday, claiming that he wanted to "curb stomp" Brown, and that would be a "WrestleMania moment." Brown replied in a tweet, saying that Punk "needs more followers. He's such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women." In another tweet, Brown also sarcastically says for Punk to call Brown's assistant so he could send Punk an autographed picture to "his biggest FAN!"

The topic of conversation surrounds Brown's 2009 felony assault charge against former girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown did 200 hours of community service and was placed on probation for several years.

The assault recently came back into the news as Brown and Rihanna collaborated on two songs that debuted on radio this week.

The war continued today, as CM Punk posted an explosive rebuttal on his Twitter account:

Brown retaliated, going to his Twitter during tonight's live edition of Smackdown on Syfy, talking about how defensive he [Punk] was being and he didn't know who he was. He also referenced that he hoped his "15 minutes of fame" would pay off for him as music lasts forever, but wrestlers "come and go according to ratings." Brown also said that he missed some wrestlers, such as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Koko B. Ware, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, adding the hashtag #notnopunks.

Brown's last tweet of Tuesday night said that it would be the last time he would bring up CM Punk, stating, "The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing. Cuz honestly, that [expletive] is too time consuming to argue wit every person who has their own issues to deal with!"

However, it was Punk, who would speak last, with one last tweet for Tuesday, simply saying "#aintawomanbeater".

For those who don't understand the situation, or have a strong opinion, check out this article by Dan Hevia of the New York Pro Wrestling Examiner. I think it covers the story on all fronts pretty good.

But for the latest updates on this and the WWE in general, stay tuned to the site and our Facebook.
