I loved the promo to this match, and I loved the finish to this match.

9) Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. WWE Undisputed Champ Triple H

3 words: HULK STILL RULES!

8) Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Ladder Match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship

Extreme Rules 2011- Tampa, FL

In a matchup caused by Christian's best friend, The "Rated R Superstar", Edge's sudden retirement, "Peeps" were able to cheer extremely loud as Captain Charisma finally became world champion, against Edge's WrestleMania 27 opponent no less. Still get emotional every time I watch this.

7) Mick Foley vs. Intercontinental Champ Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Match

Backlash 2004- Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

If his match vs. Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven the previous year didn't do it, this match put Randy Orton over, and yes, I do like the "Legend Killer" over the "Viper/Apex Predator" any day.

6) Edge vs. Triple H vs. WWE Champ John Cena in a Triple Threat Match

Backlash 2006- Lexington, KY

Man, I tell ya, Cena was unstoppable these days...

5) Edge vs. World Heavyweight Champ John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match

Wanna establish a star? Put over Triple H cleanly, not once, but twice.

"The Slam Diary": Countdown to WrestleMania- 11 to go!

What's up everyone? J.P. here running solo today because Matt is pissed off...literally. But all jokes aside, this is dedicated to Matt getting well again and because today is his birthday.

So in honor of the other half of "The World's Greatest Journalistic Tag Team," we debut a new feature!

Today marks 11 days until "The Showcase of the Immortals," WrestleMania 28. So over the next 11 days, we are going to go back and look at the last 11 WrestleManias. First up is...

WrestleMania X-Seven

April 1, 2001

Reliant Astrodome- Houston, TX

In my opinion, the greatest 'Mania of all time. Many say it was the end of the "Attitude Era." (if you don't know what that is by now, check out this.) If it was, it went out with a bang. Let's rundown the match card...

1. Chris Jericho vs. William Regal for the WWF Intercontinental Championship

Before the Invasion angle, this was Y2J's best feud in the WWF. I mean who could forget this...

Jericho would go on to win this match and ride a wave of momentum through the rest of 2001 and into WrestleMania X8 (you'll find out what happened there tomorrow).

2. Tazz and the APA vs. The Right to Censor

Ok, for those you who may not get this rivalry, let me put it this way. Tazz and the APA are like Skinamax--um, sorry, I mean Cinemax After Dark, and the Right to Censor was the Parents Television Council. Now, which side would you choose?

By hook or crook, Tazz and the APA beat the living hell out of ROC, and the group started to fade out afterwards.

3. Kane vs Raven vs The Big Show for the WWF Hardcore Championship

Ok, this was extreme, even for "Attitude Era" standards. Fighting all over the arena, hitting each other with everything, including the kitchen sink, and this...

Kane won after pushing the Big Show and Raven off the stage and jumping off the stage afterwards for good measure.

4. Eddie Guerrero vs. Test for WWF European Championship

Yes, I know most of you had no freaking clue what the European Championship is, was or ever existed. Google it. And yes, even in 2001, Eddie was lying, cheating and stealing...

And Eddie stole that match and that belt too. RIP Eddie and Test.

5. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

Ok, first off I have to put this disclaimer out. 

**Yes, I know Chris Benoit died in a murder-suicide, taking the life of his wife and son. No, I do not agree with his actions at all and mental or not, should not be taken lightly. But, in the ring, do I think he was the best technical wrestler of his time? You are damn right. All the legal stuff aside, I was and still am a huge fan of the man who was called the "Rabid Wolverine" and the "Crippler."**

Now, that's done, what do you get with a "Rabid Wolverine" facing an Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling? An classic, an epic 'Mania match.

Angle won this one, and the two would fight many more times, including the 1st Ultimate Submission match.

6. Chyna vs Ivory for the WWF Woman's Championship

Before Chyna became a pornstar, she was the "9th Wonder of the World" and the most dominant diva of the "Attitude Era." In her return to the ring, Chyna faced Ivory of "The Right to Censor" (damn, I thought we passed that part of the review...).

And oh my goodness, did Chyna ever beat down the woman that tried to end her career, and took the title in the process.

7. Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon in a Street Fight with Mick Foley as Special Referee

This is like Family Feud on steroids. Shane bought WCW under his father's nose. Vince commits several infidelities including Trish Stratus. Linda is comatose after Vince says he wants a divorce. Sounds dysfunctional to me. And who better to ref the match, than the most dysfunctional man in the WWF, Mick Foley.

Shane would win the Street Fight, but Vince would win the war in November.

8. Edge and Christian vs The Dudley Boyz vs The Hardy Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Championship in TLC II.

This is one of those matches that was so good. You just need to watch.

Edge and Christian win one of the greatest matches in WM history.

9. The Gimmick Battle Royal

Oh, God where do I start? Hillbilly Jim, The Iron Sheik, Doink the Clown for Heaven's sake?!

The Iron Sheik wins, and we get "Mean Gene" and "The Brain" on commentary. We're good.

10. Undertaker vs Triple H

Ever wonder where this rivalry that has spanned two 'Mania's now started? Here's your answer:

If you don't know who won this match, there's no hope for you.

11. Stone Cold-The Rock II for the WWF Championship

Stone Cold won part one at WrestleMania 15 in Philly. Many predicted that Rocky would get round 2 in Houston. But what happened at the end of this match, no one saw coming.

Stone Cold joined his enemy as he screwed The Rock to win the title. But Rocky got payback at the 2001 Survivor Series and WrestleMania 19.

Believe me now? Best PPV of all time! Every match had a point and everyone was on their game.

The Jack Attack's Top 10 Gus Johnson NCAA Tournament Calls

J.P. back with another Top 10 countdown. Now it's no secret that I am a huge fan of sportscaster Gus Johnson. And for the last 6-7 years, I have enjoyed hearing Johnson's voice during the NCAA Tourney, becoming synonymous with March Madness. Unfortunately, with Johnson's departure from CBS, there will be no "rise and fire" this year. With that being said, here are my 10 favorite GJ moments from the Big Dance:

Time to End the Misconception: What the WWE is All About From a Fan's View

This is something I thought I would have to do eventually, and that time has come. Here are a few tips to learn the ropes of the WWE.

1. When a wrestling fan refers to the "attitude era", he or she is referring to the late 90's and early 2000's in the WWE. This is generally referred to as the greatest era in WWE history. This is where Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and Kane were the top stars.

2. When a wrestling fan is talking about technical wrestlers, look at wrestlers such as Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.

3. Number one way to piss a fan off: To say wrestling is fake. Watch these videos, and tell a fan if wrestling is fake. But, I warn you, I am not responsible for the ensuing argument/fight/combination of the two.

4. When a fan refers to a "shoot," this is what we mean:

5. There are 3 types of entrance themes:

1: Mainstream Music- The music you hear on the radio at anytime, such as The Miz's theme, "I Came to Play" by Downstait.

2. Indy Music- Songs that are produced by little-known artists, such as Christian's theme, "Just Close Your Eyes" by Story of the Year.

3. WWE produced music- Music produced by WWE's music director, Jim Johnston, such as the Undertaker's old theme during his "American Bad Ass/Big Evil" era, "You're Gonna Pay."

6. Pay-per-views: It can truly provide memorable moments...

1. The Theme Music- Yes, there's music for this too. The music typically coincides with the theme of the PPV. Perfect Example, Last Year's Survivor Series, celebrating it's 25th anniversary at New York's Madison Square Garden. The theme was "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida.

2. The Tagline- The theme behind the PPV. For example, SummerSlam is considered one of the "Big Four" PPV's (WrestleMania, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series are the other three) and in 2006 had the tagline as "The Biggest Party of the Summer," with several promos behind it.

3. The Match Card and Promo- This is where the hype is built up for the PPV. One of my favorite match cards was from the 2003 Royal Rumble, which started the Road to WrestleMania 19. The theme song was "Falling Apart" by Trust Company.

On the flip side, one of the best promos done for a PPV was in 1998 at the Rock Bottom. This was for the Stone Cold vs. Undertaker Buried Alive match.

4. The PPV Intro- Once you get the PPV, this sets the tone for the night. A couple of good examples are from Backlash 2005 (theme: "Stronger" by Trust Company) and Vengeance 2005 (theme: "Happy" by Mudvayne).

5. The Main Event- This is self-explanatory.

7. When we refer to the "PG Era," this is the BS we are talking about:

(Before this past Monday's RAW, this was the last RAW I missed (this was 10.31. 2011) and this maybe the only RAW I have ever intentionally missed)

8. The era we are in is the "Reality Era" which started after this: (exception of the Muppets night)

9. The last era a beginning fan needs to know is the "Ruthless Aggression" era.

10. The most important thing a WWE fan knows: WrestleMania is "The Showcase of the Immortals."

I hope this brought a newfound understanding of the events millions around the world love so much.

The Jack Attack's 10 Favorite Sports Themes That NEED To Return

I'm back with another "Top 10" countdown, this time I rank 10 iconic sports themes that need to return to the airwaves.

10. NFL on NBC (Used Super Bowl XXVIII and 1994 season)

**It's a shame they decided to replace this theme. It was great, point blank.**

9. NASCAR on CBS (Used 1995-1997 (Winston Cup) and 1998 (Busch Series))

**Just recently found this, but it screams this era of NASCAR.**

8. NBA on TNT 

**I am a HUGE fan of the current theme, but this one should definitely be used for "Inside The NBA"**

7. MLB on FOX  (Used 1998-2010)

I have no idea why FOX thought it was a good idea to use the NFL theme for ALL of their telecasts...

6. NFL on CBS (Used 1992-1993)

**Love the new theme too, just would like to see this anywhere.**

5. NASCAR on NBC/TNT (Used 2001-2003 and 2004 Daytona 500)

**NBC just needs to come back to NASCAR. Point Blank. I loved this theme so much, here's two instances of it for you. The 2001 Pepsi 400 at Daytona and the 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo 400 with the Looney Tunes from Richmond.**

4. NCAA Basketball on CBS (used 1993-2003)

**I don't like the remix. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.**

3. College Football on ABC (used 1998-2005)

**This was a casualty of the greatest sports tragedy in sports TV. The dissolving of ABC Sports and the creation of ESPN on ABC.**

2. NASCAR on FOX (Used 2001-2007)

**Once again, who told these guys their NFL intro would work for everything?!**

1.NBA on NBC  (Used 1989-2002)

**Comcast...If you are smart, get the NBA contract from ESPN/ABC**

The Jack Attack's 10 Favorite WWE PPV Themes

I'm back again with another top 10 countdown, and this will serve as a preview of our WWE theme song countdown list, called the "Sounds of the Squared Circle." Now I put these in order based on a few things:

• Does the song coincide with the theme of the PPV?
• No WWE produced tracks
• Mainstream Success
• Is it a good song? (that one is kinda obvious)

And for your viewing pleasure, I will put the actual introduction to the event next to the song.

So now that we have the ground rules done, let's hit the countdown!

10. Survivor Series 2001, Greensboro, NC: "Control" by Puddle of Mudd

This song totally made sense as the premise of the 15th Annual "Thanksgiving Tradition" was which organization would survive after the 5 on 5 Winner Take All match between Team Alliance and Team WWF. And we all know who won that one...

9. SummerSlam 2008, Indianapolis, IN: "Ready to Roll" by Jet Black Stare

In my eyes, this was a highly underrated PPV. Cena-Batista, CM Punk-JBL, HHH-Khali, Edge-Undertaker in Hell in a Cell. This was a pumped up card. And a pumped up card, deserved a pumped up theme. Got it.

8. Extreme Rules 2009, New Orleans, LA: "You're Going Down" by Sick Puppies

This card was not necesscarily the strongest, but how can this theme not get you pumped?! (oh, Tommy Dreamer winning the ECW Title and that Edge/Jeff Hardy Ladder Match...EPIC!)

7. One Night Stand: Extreme Rules 2007, Jacksonville, FL: "Famous" by Puddle of Mudd

Ok, if you have ever heard this song, it SCREAMS "ONE NIGHT STAND"! Not to mention, the card was good. RVD-Orton in a stretcher match, World's Greatest Tag Team-Hardy Boyz in a ladder match, Edge-Batista in a cage, Cena-Khali in a falls count anywhere match, even Vince took on Lashley in a street fight!

6. Backlash 2009, Providence, RI: "Seasons" by The Veer Union

Man, I loved this PPV. Legacy v. HHH/Batista/Shane, Ricky Steamboat v. Y2J, Christian-Jack Swagger, Edge-Cena in a last man standing match, Matt v Jeff in a I Quit Match. And not to mention it is a change of the seasons after 'Mania.

5. Survivor Series 2003, Dallas, TX: "Build a Bridge" by Limp Bizkit

I had an extremely tough time putting this #5. This fit so well with the overall theme of the PPV. Shane and Kane in a ambulance match, Goldberg and HHH for the World Title, Team Angle v. Team Lesnar, Team Bischoff v. Team Austin and Vince v Taker in a buried alive match. And the tagline...epic. "A Fall From Grace."

4. WrestleMania 23, Detroit, MI: "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva

Did you really think I was leaving the "Showcase of the Immortals" off my list? This was easily the best 'Mania in the last 5 years. Money In The Bank, Kane-Khali, Battle of the Billionaires, MVP-Benoit, Taker-Batista and Cena-Michaels. This is my #2 favorite 'Mania and the theme was perfect! Welcome to the Show...

3. Survivor Series 2011, New York, NY: "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida

This is another one of the songs that fit the PPV theme great. Centered around the Awesome Truth vs John Cena and the Rock, but had CM Punk v Del Rio and Zack Ryder getting a standing O at MSG!

2. WrestleMania 21, Los Angeles, CA: "Big Time" by The Soundtracks of Our Lives

WrestleMania truly went Hollywood and did not disappoint. Both John Cena and Batista won their 1st major titles, Edge won the 1st Money in the Bank, Big Show sumo wrestled Akebono (YIKES!) Eddie faced Rey, and Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels as well as Randy Orton and the Undertaker had a classic.

1. WrestleMania X-Seven, Houston, TX: "My Way" by Limp Bizkit

This song. This artist. This was the attitude era. In my opinion, the greatest 'Mania of all time. So many matches. Rock-Austin II, Angle-Benoit, TLC II, Vince-Shane, I mean top to bottom, this had it all.
